Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a transformative and structured environment that supports women in overcoming exploitative circumstances and transitioning into safe and dignified career paths—through faith-based discipleship, trauma-informed care, mentorship, vocational training, and access to entrepreneurial resources and tools for launching sustainable livelihoods.

The Problem
Women stuck in harmful and exploitative occupations need a way out. At BloomingDames Centre, we provide the bridge to safety and economic independence.
What We Are Building
A 6-month certification programme with enterprise skills and start-up tools to help women between 18 and 45 years in Ibadan, Oyo State, shift out of harmful and exploitative occupations into sustainable career paths in fulfilment of SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth (run periodically for different cohorts)
Blooming Dames Centre
BloomingDames Centre is a programme being jointly implemented by our organisation, Pan African Purpose-Driven Women Initiative and Connecting Hearts of Women for Positive Change Initiative.
This collaboration is a reflection of our response to SDG 17- Partnership for the goals, and it began since 2018.
Achievements Including Deals
Before Roxbourg
- Registered a legal entity with the Corporate Affairs Commission
- Registered with the Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Inclusion
- Carried out Medical and Evangelical outreaches to over 200 women in harmful and exploitative occupations and circumstances in Ibadan North LGA of Oyo State, Nigeria ( 2017- 2024).
- Partnership deal with another organisation with the same thematic focus to run discipleship and skills-acquisition training for ladies. (since 2018)
- Partnership with House on the Rock Church to use a portion of their facility for weekly discipleship and skills acquisition training for ladies.
- Anchor Deals with some friends who volunteered to train beneficiaries in various skills, free of charge(since 2016):

- Financial donations from family and friends to run medical outreaches among ladies and to buy enterprise and startup tools for beneficiaries( since 2017)
- Graduated 2 cohorts of twelve ladies each who acquired skills in various skills ( 2022 and 2023)
- Gideon’s International partnered during outreaches to donate Bibles to ladies and had some of their women provide counselling services(since 2018)
- Support with bags of rice for ladies( 2023) from the Oyo State Govt through the office of the First Lady of the state.
- Built a website
- Created social media
handles - Opportunities with media houses to enlighten the public on the danger of exploitative and harmful occupations.
Achievements Including Deals
During Roxbourg
- Funding support from friends and families to secure a 5-year lease on a property currently being used as a Safe House for the BloomingDames Centre.
- Developed an MOU with partnering organisation, Connecting Hearts of Women for Positive Change Initiative, on the BloomingDames Centre Programme
- Opened a Safe House to serve as a residence and skills acquisition centre for ladies who are willing to shift into dignifying career pathways (May 2025)
- Donation of furniture, clothing, beds, kitchen utensils and equipment from family and friends.
- Medical /evangelical outreach was carried out to over 80 ladies at Queen Cinema, Ibadan North East LGA of Oyo State in July 2025.
- 3 Ladies who showed interest in rehabilitation and empowerment have been attending discipleship, value-based training sessions and skills in catering (pastries, finger foods) every Wednesday at the Safe House. (since July, 2025)
- Ladies sheltered at the Safe House:
1. Survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV)
2. Ladies being rehabilitated from harmful and exploitative occupations
Mega/Anchor Deals
- A mega deal from MeCAHT and EXIST with funding from CKU and Rotaract Denmark, in which skills facilitators are paid stipends to train 7 ladies in enterprise skills of their choice in Tailoring, Catering and Fashion Design as well as value- based skills. Equipment in each of the skills area were bought for the BloomingDames Centre (October 2025)
- A deal with Funmi Oderinde & Co, Legal Practitioners & Corporate Consultants to offer free business name registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC Nigeria for the 7 ladies who have gone through the “She Leads Survivor Empowerment Training Project.
- A deal with Blessed Water Company to donate bags of sachet water to the residents of the Safe House
- Reactivation of Legal Entity on the Corporate Affairs Commission, Nigeria ( November, 2025)
- Approval as Host Organisation with the The NJFP (Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme). The NJFP is a 12-month, fully-paid work placement initiative launched by the Nigerian Federal Government to empower young graduates with practical skills funded by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the agency responsible for implementing this programme in partnership with the EU.
