This years’ Capacity Development for Teenagers was a two-day program. This event took place at the SU Guest House, Samonda on the 5th and 6th of November between 9am-5pm daily. This is the third conference that PAPDWI has brought together for the teens of our generation.

Dr Mrs Ebunlomo Walker Oyo State Co-ordinator of the Child Protection Network gave the keynote speech.

A lot of activities and sessions were lined up for the day. The first session was on personality profiling and self discovery, this session was taken by Miss Oreoluwa Oni. The teenagers were taught the different types of temperaments and how to identify theirs.

Mr Yomi Ojute, CEO of The Leadership Factory (TLF) anchored a very impactful session on Leadership.

There were other remarkable and enlightening sessions that were anchored by wonderful people who are passionate about the teens of this generation. One picture they say is worth Ten Thousand Words.

There were also skill acquisition sessions. These sessions were held to equip our teens with skills they could use to make money and start businesses. They are expected to put all what they were taught during the money management class.

The teenagers had a very wonderful time at the conference

This conference would never have taken place without the help of GOD and our wonderful team

We thank God for the success of this year’s program. We would like to thank all our sponsors and all the teenagers that were present. Pan African Women Initiative is glad to be your host and looks forward to seeing you all next year.
